Kris Wilkerson has always been passionate about art; from the thousand
sketches of her future ranch at age 8 to beginning what is now an
extensive personal art collection at age 30 to enriching local lives today,
Kris has found an outlet for that passion. Wilkerson Fine Art first opened
its doors in the Ogden Valley in the fall of 2001.

Kris is motivated by her desire to enrich lives through art. She has found
that connection and expression through art lifts the human spirit and in
that lifted state a ripple effect occurs. The mission of Wilkerson Fine
Art & Consulting is to provide a forum for local artists to connect to the
community, and to assist the community in living a rich, well-considered
life through original art.

Through exhibits and events, Wilkerson Fine Art & Consulting offers an
art’s educational palette of:
• History, to bring perspective
• Relevance to daily life
• Discovery of nature and philosophy
• Creation of lively, yet serene, spaces

Energetic, innovative, and intuitive (as her husband puts it) Kris recognized,
after operating gallery space for two years, that people were more
comfortable purchasing art in their own space and at their own pace.
So, in addition to regular exhibits held at Wolf Creek Resort and other
Valley locations, Kris works with individual clients to get a sense of their
style and taste; then custom hangs their space integrating new original
works with those existing in the client’s collection. She also assists with
creating and designing in home art galleries including layout and lighting.
All of these services she provides free of charge. Once the art takes
root in the new space and in the spirit of the client it sells itself. Kris feels
she is a facilitator for art and as such, an educator, a patron of the artists
and a benefactor to her community.
