Summer's extra-long days may be winding down, but Utah's Real Estate market is still simmering. Although the market updates are typically a few months behind, the trends and numbers are important to note. Here are some highlights for this report:

  • Overall median sales price continues climbing- up 6.6% at $238,000.
  • Summer vacationers may have boosted the sales of townhouse-condos, with these units (and especially those with 2 bedrooms or fewer), were the strongest sales.
  • Inventory levels have decreased to 21.9%.
  • Compared to last year, overall days on market is down and median sales price is up for all property types.
