Looking for a fun, family friendly activity to take your kids to on a Saturday morning?  Come out to Huntsville Park in downtown Huntsville on Saturday, June 8th, for the First Annual Hess Cancer Foundation’s Fitness in the Park.

Beginning at 9:00 am, the Hess Cancer Foundation will offer yoga, Zumba, and Pilates classes for adults and other more kid-friendly exercise activities for children.  In addition to fitness classes, Fitness in the Park will also feature live music courtesy of local coverband Red Shot Pony throughout the day, as well as a charity dinner in the evening.  There will also be a raffle before dinner.

Tickets to the Hess Cancer Foundation Fitness in the Park cost $20 each.  Tickets include admission to one yoga class, one Zumba class, or one Pilates class; admission to the charity dinner, which will be catered by Bella’s Fresh Mexican Cantina of Ogden; and one raffle ticket.

The purpose of all these festivities is to raise funds to support the Hess Cancer Foundation’s mission.  The Foundation’s purpose, according to its website, is to “provide financial assistance to families that lose a young child to cancer and aren’t financially prepared for it; to help the community see that there is a real need for this type of help; (and) to encourage fitness as a way to fight cancer.”  All proceeds from Fitness in the Park will be used to support this mission.

So, to support a fantastic cause and get a good workout, be sure to join us at Huntsville Park on Saturday morning for the Hess Cancer Foundation’s Fitness in the Park!  Huntsville Park is located at 7400 E 200 S in Huntsville, Utah.

While you’re up in Ogden Valley for Fitness in the Park on June 8th, check out all the other goings-on in the area that day.  After you’re finished at Huntsville Park, head over to Wolf Mountain Resort in Liberty for the Wolf Mountain Downhill and Super D mountain bike races.  Or take your kids fishing or for a swim at Pineview Reservoir.  You’ll find no shortage of things to do in Ogden Valley.
