Only four shows remain in the Blues, Brews, and BBQ Concert Series at Snowbasin.  If you have not yet been to one of these free concerts, your opportunities to do so are running short.  If you have been to one or more Blues, Brews, and BBQ show, that’s great! Come back to Snowbasin again this Sunday, September 8th as the Blues, Brews, and BBQ Concert Series resumes with performances by Bill Payne and special guest The Hooligans.

Bill Payne is the co-founder, keyboarder, and vocalist of the popular American rock band Little Feat.  Payne co-founded Little Feat in 1969 with guitarist and vocalist Lowell George.  Since forming forty-four years ago, Little Feat has released sixteen studio albums, the most recent, Rooster Rag, coming in 2012.  Bill Payne is currently the only original member of Little Feat currently still in the band.   In addition to his career with Little Feat, Payne also has a solid career as a solo artist, having released an instrumental studio album called Cielo Norte in 2005.  On Sunday, Payne will grace the stage at the Patio at Earl’s Lodge.

Joining Bill Payne on stage during this installment of Blues, Brews, and BBQ will be The Hooligans, a roots rock/blues/Americana band from Bozeman, Montana.  Formed in the early 1990s, The Hooligans covers all the greatest hits from popular acts like Bob Marley, Muddy Waters, John Hiatt, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and many more.

Bill Payne is quite possibly the most famous artist to perform at Snowbasin in the Blues, Brews, and BBQ Concert Series so far this year.  If you only go to one Blues, Brews, and BBQ show this year, it should be this one.  You do not want to miss this show!  Bring the whole family, too!  This is an all-ages show, so the whole family will surely have a good time.

The Hooligans will take the stage at the Patio at Earl’s Lounge at 12:00 pm, followed by headliner Bill Payne at 3:00.

Earl’s Lodge is located at the base of Snowbasin, just beyond the main parking lots.  The Patio is located around the back of the building; you should have no trouble finding it.  Admission to this Blues, Brews, and BBQ concert is free and open to all ages.  Delicious BBQ grub and beer will be available for purchase.
