Powder Mountain Ski Resort is located in Eden, Utah about nineteen miles northeast of Ogden, and is one of three ski resorts in Ogden Valley — an area that is recognized as a top outdoor mecca with exciting growth and updates happening. With the largest skiable terrain in North America, boasting over 8,000 acres, Powder Mountain preserves an uncrowded skiing and snowboarding experience that is highly sought after. Discover Powder Mountain’s luxury cabins, homes, townhomes, and land for sale. Learn more about the communities in our Powder Mountain real estate guide and explore the most frequently asked questions about real estate near Powder Mountain.

Explore the newly unveiled “Relay” art installation at the Sundown lift at Powder Mountain, a Sun Tunnel magic carpet that captures the movement of light, creating a multi-colored sundial. Stay for night skiing, see the tunnel glow, and grab a slice or whole pizza from Lucky Slice in the Sundown Lodge. For a casual après ski, enjoy a variety of beers on tap, live music, and elevated pub fare at the Powder Keg in the Timberline Lodge.

Powder Mountain has cat skiing to even more remote and untouched terrain for those looking for a backcountry feel without the risk, and receives an average of 500 inches of powder each year.

Summer offerings at the resort are expanding, with hiking and biking on cross-country trails full of wildflowers, down hill riding at the new Powder Mountain Bike Park, and live music weekly.

The new semi-private ski resort model will combine public and private slopes, providing the ultimate skier experience for public guests and Powder Mountain home owners. Ultimately, Mary’s and Village Lifts on the eastern flank of the resort will become private, and a new Raintree Lift will be built for future real estate homeowners to access black diamond runs in Cobabe Canyon.
