Are you a wine connoisseur?  Or are you interested in attending a unique, one-of-a-kind dining experience?  Then we invite you attend the Kiler Grove Winemaker’s Dinner at Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville this Friday, August 2nd

Snowbasin has teamed up with Kiler Grove Winegrowers to present this dining and winetasting event, which will be held at Earl’s Lodge.  Kiler Grove Winegrowers, located in South Salt Lake, is Utah’s first urban winery.

The festivities will begin at 6:00 on the evening of the 2nd with a “flight” of winetasting with Kiler Grove Winegrowers on the patio at Earl’s Lodge.  Appetizers will also be served at this time.  The Daniel Day Trio, a contemporary jazz band from Salt Lake City, will be performing on the patio during this portion of the event, setting the mood for the rest of the evening.

Following the appetizers and winetasting, dinner will be served at 7:30 in the dining room at Earl’s Lodge.  Here, you will enjoy a three-course meal consisting of roasted vegetable gazpacho, seared halibut loin, and Granny Smith apple tarte tatin.  Each course will be paired with a particular wine from Kiler Grove Winegrowers.  During dinner, a wine vintner from Kiler Grove will discuss the grapes and wine-making process.

Seating for the Kiler Grove Winemaker’s Dinner is limited, so reservations are required.  To set a reservation, call Snowbasin at 801-620-1021.  Admission is $65 a person.  To see the full menu, click here.
